will they take away our severance if we work for encore?

@e7 Encore has been an option for Cigna retirees forever. Before being 'offered' the VRP, I had always planned to work until full retirement age and then apply for an Encore PT position. These jobs are only available to Cigna retirees. It states that on the job postings.
@a7 some people were offered positions with a company called encore, which I think is just a subsidiary of CIGNA? I’m not sure but that’s why I was trying to see if it will delay or eliminate the severance package.
If offered I would not take it. If I’m not good enough to keep around, why go back help them out?
@a7 Encore is a program that allows retirees to work part time at Cigna. One requirement is a position needs to be funded and posted. Another requirement is a 12 week separation period between leaving as a full time employee and returning as part time. I have not read through the fine print to see if severance beyond the 12 weeks will be affected. I was told that part time positions were NOT funded for my IT division.
Don’t you have to be retired to participate in the Encore program?
