Thread regarding NTT Data layoffs

NTT is a disappointment

I was hoping for better than my last job. But that didn't happen. It's as if I never left the other company. Broken promises, a bunch of hot air and bunch of pretenders.

I'm not a fan of an organization that will intentionally hold you back and take away your options through manipulation. That includes trying to steer your career path of your choosing towards something that meets their immediate needs.

Has that east european cold-war error feel to it.

Rebadged employee here. I hate to say it. With the most recent escapade, they managed to break me. They should be so proud.

I'm not impressed. Particularly when you catch those above you in what I consider borderline unethical and underhanded tactics.

OP

I have a feeling that we work in the same area. Different upper manager than before, same story.

@a7

Does it really matter. My managers off no real value to me. They've done nothing to make my job more tolerable, more efficient or effective. In fact, just the opposite.

They're more concerned about themselves and their Excel spreadsheets than the people they manager.
