@3kk Well Marketplace is an important part of the three-legged stool that is Centene. Less you get comfortable in the Caid, they will be next. Most of those new Medicaid requirements won’t go into effect until mid 2026 through 2027.

These are likely marketplace states being impacted due to member loss because the subsidies weren't renewed. Because we aren't in some of those states with Medicaid.

So Sarah gets completely outmatched by Trump, who’s hated Obamacare from the start, and the front line people are going to lose their jobs while she keeps hers. Seems about right. Good strategy isn’t “cross our fingers and hope Kamala wins”. She didn’t and now we are all sc--wed.

This is false. We don’t even have business in some of those states, to start. But also - the next round of RIFs is scheduled for January. They aren’t laying anyone off this close to holidays and year end.

It would be nice to know if remote workers are generally given notice the same day as their last day or generally told a few weeks ahead. Rumor is they often announce on a Thursday or Friday. There are other states that need to be on that list.

This is how for profit businesses run. It su-ks but it's the way. Not telling the employees before the holidays is hurtful in the longrun. Don't let these people go into the holiday overspending and then be over stressed with regret a month later because that money could have paid the utilities next month.

It also gives centene employees extra time to start putting feelers out there. Most people don't look for a new job b during the holidays. They are holding out for bonuses or wanting to take their vacation time.

Getting your resume uploaded on linked in and indeed immediately is best. Also do research on AI and these application scanners. The key words of 10 years ago aren't what stand out today.

If your in florida. Crate an account with career source florida They works hand and hand with the state of florida unemployment office They will help update resumes, help with finding work and also offer free education skills you might not know. Learning excel or word. They have programs for a lot of this type of programs/apps. It's free. They offer great services. Workshops, trainings, career fairs.

Can confirm there is a plan and that RIFs will occur in that general window. Less sure on exactly which states. I would not assume it’s limited to specific lines of business though.

6 of those States listed were closed for Medicare business and layoffs occurred last year. Not sure if those States are being closed in the other LOB's this year or not. I do know of layoffs in Maine, New York and Illinois are coming because of the States being moved into different Regions. Also, the Corporate Appeals Dept. is still doing layoffs due to outsourcing.
