Hi Folks

Thanks for all your hard work and efforts through the year, without you we would be nowhere. I meant even without paying you were still in business.

I know your complaining about the pay, and last minute holiday debacle but the HR women isnt upto it, still we got her an award, we know where to spend the money.

Us execs are doing are last flights and free trips, i meant holidays, around the world for this year. Phew clocked up some points.

Ignore the ten 10 other happy holidays emails your going to get as were spending your money.

@a7 You do know HR doesn’t give pay increases, that’s up to the CEO and the board.

HR only role is to protect the company from Employees, not the other way around.

If you don’t like the way you are treated then go find another employer that will put up with your unprofessional attitude!

@wd the vast majority of us don't get to qit and be "brian retired", we get to be "unemployed at the worst ever point in the tech job market". It's almost impossible to get an interview never mind another job - nobody in their right mind walks out on even a sh---y company like dxc with no plan.

@wd We're not lazy. We're a slave workforce. Locked in by Stockholm syndrome, and a feeling we've been so damaged we won't be going after another role anytime soon, and by then we'll have effectively retired.

The people who moan on here do it because they want the company to get better. If it said you do this, and you get a pay rise, and it actually happened. Then we all would. But they lie. They say this needs doing, you'll get overtime or a day off. It never happens. All forgotten in endless reorgs.

People behave and reflect how they are treated! The company doesn't care. Why should the staff!?

If you don't like dxc, then quit. Jobs are out there for quality people
Whining tells people that you aren't worthy to begin with so any good company won't want you anyway. Yes DXC Su-ks, but they have become a shelter for lazy people.
Best thing you can do is hide quietly and do what you are good at. Complaining .

RF and Cav Kam

RF even said Cav Kam is directly under him, interesting role/position. They make it quite clear.

All the company $ is being spent on foreign trips and .....

@a7 Do you REALLY think HR have any say in these matters??!! The business and finance determine everything, taking into consideration how little DXC is currently valued at!! Look at the financial publications, and if this company is not right for you, then please find another company that satisfies your expectations.

It's not just the execs and HR!! I'm surrounded by id--ts. Project Managers who don't seem to know what's going on and just want endless status meetings. Bringing in more and more people to confirm or discuss something that's already been confirmed or discussed. Escalating issues which are long since resolved. Alongside technical people who call themselves experts but don't seem to know the product or toolset they call themselves experts in. Yet still these people command a good wage having joined recently and negotiated a good salary. Presumably the contracts now say and that's it forever.
