Are We? Or are some of us, in my space with Verizon we have folks who have been dialing it in for years, while others bust their butts to get the right things done for the customers. The shame is that way too often when cuts are made they look at roles to cut vs people who aren't doing the job to cut. There is no vision at Verizon, and without a real leader with a real (and realistic vision) things will continue in chaos, cutting more people when we are still handicapped in so many places by the folks let go via VSP last year is a desperate attempt to trigger the stock price to go up. This isn't about what Verizon does or how they do it, it is about trying to make sure the big time shareholders get as much money as they can from the stock, including the leadership and board of the company.

Time to be blunt and honest
