I have read about individuals reportimg GL reductions numerous times on this site. I thought that terms of reassignments won't be communicsted until Monday. Does someone have a crystal ball? I would like to buy one.

For sure pay cuts are coming.
For sure they are also closing down Bartlesville on Monday.
For sure 9/80's will be gone on Monday as well.

@OP Maybe a d-mb question, but is COP doing some pay cuts? This is the first I’d heard of that. Is it just Canada? Are we talking hourly, contractors, or salaried employees as well?
Are they comparing people’s salary to their peers (for same job title/responsibilities)?
I can believe it only because I worked at one company that threatened to do that (but ultimately didn’t do it.)
@c4 information largely hasn't come out yet. It did for Canada but that's a fraction. We wait to find out.
Ex COP here...did the email specifically say reduction in pay? I knew people who were demoted in SGL and were paid the same amount. I took a position that was three pay grades higher and did not receive any increase in salary (I assumed I would be paid more...I was p1ssed!...my bad!!). The salary ranges are so wide that you could almost be in any SGL.
@a6 Alaska and Canada too. Someone from Canada gave details about their changes on here last week. There's been speculation as well, not sure what's been confirmed so I won't repeat it.
They got a head start on some L48 locations, only field personnel that I know of.
L48 announced changes would be coming and some locations have had their notifications prior to this week. Some knowledge is out there and much more will come Monday. This is all I know.
