Did anyone get a raise or RSUs? Looks like some people are getting them now.

I got a small amount of RSUs ahead of the RIFs, so I took that as a signal that I am safe for this round. I treat it as a small pay rise which is certainly welcome as I feel the real economic power to be still behind the inflation from Covid times. IC4 in EMEA, one of those Oracle "classic" orgs hit by the RIFs this week.
This was my 4th year @Oracle, I got a good raise - 8% and about 350K RSU
Very similar grant as I got when i joined
I am in Oracle Cloud. not sure of other groups.
I got a dry promotion to IC5 (no base salary increase) and some RSUs
@ax Can you share the country as well?
@q0 Fusion, NA, dev, IC5, 40-80k.
To understand where I stand, what is general RSU avg (for those who get it) in fusion. e.g for IC5, is it 150k worth USD an avg, above avg or below par?
@gk the issue here is the RSU grant price is not determined yet at this moment when the grant is just notified. It’s not the market closing price on the day being notified and it’s the price on the day the official equity award email comes. No one would know exactly how many shares the RSU grant is right now without the official email which isn’t sent out yet.
@fh I hear what you're driving at, and yes it's now awarded in target dollars (expected add to annual comp per year), they changed that 2 cycles ago. But, it is still communicated in a way that says "at today's stock price your award would equate to X number of shares". So it's reasonable for some to say "I received 1000 RSUs". And yes, people do get award grants in excess of $200k (common). Highest I've seen is $550k for a special case retention. As for raises 15% does exist but reserved for the #1 on any given team. 7-8% is more common for above average performers, with many often receiving nothing.
@ff Right, Oracle did award RSU grant in shares a while back, but it’s changed 4 or 5 years ago. Oracle doesn’t grant RSU in number of shares anymore including this year.
@fc They used to award them that way, but it's been a while. And a 15% raise? I really doubt it.
@f9 that’s not true. Just a little hint, Oracle doesn’t give out RSU in number of shares.
@f4 No, that's believable. 1000 RSUs works out to $280k/4 years or $70k/year salary bump. That does happen for IC5 or greater, 5 rated, must retain employees. 15% salary is actually quite common too for top performers.
@ey In my experience only management's favorite IC's get RSUs. And they still got laid off.
@b6, I call bullsh-t. Oracle doesn't give RSU grants that way. You are either a troll, or an ex employee, or both. Don't pay attention this as----e.
Dam. That's nice. I have never received an RSU after a zillion years and no raise in 3 years. What kind of role do you have at oracle? Maybe I need to look around at job openings.
what business unit?
RSUs here. Same volume as last year and 2022.
There is no official focal cycle happening this year. And what value do RSU's have any more when they have demonstrated a willingness to cut 5 rated employees and cancel their outstanding options? I'd rather have a large raise or bonus, Oracle RSUs no longer have retention value after how this last RIF was handled.
@a6 taking it back, got a call today and received a large RSU package, times larger than previous ones. No raise or bonus though. It's just a golden chain and a poison pill to cut me next August, I think.
Got a 15% focal and 1000 RSU grant
Hoefully RSU will also come in CEGBU this week.
I got a small amount of RSU. Considering my circumstances it's really low but I guess I can consider myself really lucky that I got at least something. NSGBU EMEA
yeah
Not this year.. Just informed.
got 5 performance rating, got nothing so far regarding rsu/raise/bonus in Fusion. previous years it was always done way before end of September.
