Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Berkley Heights NJ

I see people relocated to berkley heights from all other states including countries, for what? for their stock value to drop over 70% , work in the noisy office 9 hours 3 days, and waste time, most of the products are legacy and need atleast 7 to 10 people to keep them running, no innovation, and they make it look as if they are one of those trillion $ companies like Faang or Nvidia, VP's and SVP's just satisying egos , giving 1- 2 % increments to people working 12 hours a day to keep the lights on, That is fiserv. product managers non stop talking from 8 to 8 with zero innovation, and knowledge , may be they wanna retire here doing mundane work.

This resonates even more now after the recent layoffs and the decision to move long-tenured Fiserv employees to Infinite as “contractors.” People were asked to relocate, give years of loyalty, and work unsustainable hours to keep legacy platforms alive — only to be told their roles were no longer valued enough to remain internal.

The reality is that many products are outdated, require oversized teams just to function, and see little real investment in modernization. Innovation is talked about endlessly, but execution is buried under bureaucracy, ego-driven leadership, and nonstop meetings that lead nowhere.

Meanwhile, employees are expected to work 10–12 hour days for 1–2% raises, while leadership positions itself as if this were a FAANG-level tech company. The Infinite move feels less like strategy and more like cost shifting — pushing risk onto workers while preserving executive optics.

For those impacted, it’s clear: loyalty and hard work are no longer rewarded here. They’re leveraged until they’re no longer convenient.

move to NJ with the highest property taxes, old junk homes worth millions and people get paid enough to eat at mcdonalds and then for a company which tanked 70%, they keep saying it will pump, thats a joke and a long shot with a company which has so many employees and zero innovation! over crowded, state with good for nothing companies.

I called the stock to go back to $60, when it was at $230. I am calling the stock to stagnate and reach $30 soon, but in two years, Fiserv will be in the news - Paying IRS back taxes and penalties in hundreds of millions for evading taxes due to miss classification. They will then call back all infinite employees back.

There were mass hiring events in BH and Omaha due to tax incentives a few years ago. As offices closed, the only option was to move families and that didn't guarantee you had a job after you made the move.

I was able to decline the move and I am happy for it today but I feel bad for the folks who moved their family and still lost their jobs.
