@av I have heard more than once and read the same in this blog that everyone gets a meeting. You won’t know if you’re done or safe until it starts. Large webinar format.
The email said "Tuesday we will announce changes..." which I took to mean "to those who are left"... Who the F knows what to expect - what a cluster.
I heard the entire GenAI team in TII was eliminated.
only some folks in TII got the email or all of them? Trying to understand what receiving the invite actually means...

@at you’re not getting an invite for a meeting to stay. You might get a team announcement email, or org update from your leaders announcement/meeting but not an invite for an “important meeting” to stay.
@as I was actually told the opposite by my L8: everyone receives an email tomorrow but you don’t know if it’s the “layoff meeting” or “you still have a job meeting” until you open it/join the meeting.
@ar people will not receive an invite if they’re not impacted. This is standard practice and what Target did in 2015.

@aa AFAIK atleast for TII only impacted folks have got the mail. Not sure on the cruelty bit don't have any faith left. better prepared for anything....
Did everyone get an invite or just impacted team members? Would they really double down on the cruelty and give us invites at 4pm today and then wait until tomorrow?
