I know I'm not the only one who can't even think about work right now. The sooner this is over, the better, even if I'm cut. The anticipation is ki-ling me, literally. I'm scared to take my blood pressure again because of how high it is. Anyone who can concentrate on work in these conditions has my respect, but that isn't me.

@a7 what trust? whatever amount of TRUST left flew out the door a long time ago… Company has been promoting “Culture of Health” for several years now, but it’s all for show - did not change anything to boost employee morale or improve mental health
@OP - so true… after today’s Employee Forum, everyone’s stressed out… employee morale is once again on an all-time low, and severe depression will kick in… no wonder employee benefits have been downgraded in 2026 - a big indicator that something bad is coming… it’s pathetic that HR allocated a huge chunk on mental health as they know people will be needing this by year end
And how is this is different from any other day at QP?
@ad don’t do that. You know better.
What you should do is work the min hours and put in the least effort you can and go channel your energy to update your resume and look for a new job or start your own gig.
Most of my trips to QP over the past years indicate that they forget about productivity most days.
Don’t forget CRC’s donation announcement was delivered after 18 months of talk.
@a5 sadly no chance they restore trust; I've come to realize it will only get more and more broken. Leadership is so proud of these choices that continue to "work" (at the cost of the people that remain). We all know and see its already crumbling - one day I'm confident despite how resound they are - it will crash around them.
Given the amount of leaks, the leaders under CA clearly don’t sympathize with the weak reasons being used by EM to justify this. Expect more leaks to come in the days and weeks ahead.
Imperial is changed forever. The great workplace culture and high performance mindset will be significantly challenged. The ones who intend to leave will barely work for this transition period, while su-king most possible juice. Employees who decide to stay will care less, work less, and just not give a flying birdie for a long time to come, until the trust can be restored.
It’s been the most prolonged announcement, with expectation bubbling for months and rumors of an announcement for weeks. I’m so sorry - it’s a dismal way to treat people. Let’s hope they’ve learnt some lessons on this one.
Sending y’all strength and solidarity today……or whenever it comes.
