I love my job. The pay is good, the work feels good. But, it’s become overwhelming. The workload is bigger and there are less people. What now?

Not to mention the 1% merit increases. Guarantee we should expect to see this next year too.
@a5 this is correct, we let go a contractor who was onshore to hire 3 contractors off shore.
They are terrible
Would you rather have AI do all those jobs including yours? Human jobs will no longer be stable or permanent. More people will have no choice but to retire early even if they can't afford to.
They will hire people in Chennai or Hyderabad eventually.
