Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

My TTUS feedback

Thought I'd pass it on in case any of you lovely disgruntled coworkers hadn't submitted yours yet, and were looking for ideas:

"G----- K----'s tone-deaf, b----y "town hall" on the morning of 5/5 was the most entitled, mo--nic rich-person behavior I've witnessed since I last looked at Trump's Truth Social page. I have yet to interact with anyone at the bank who thought she did a good job - or will do a good job in the months to come. Employee morale was bad enough before G----- had to open her mouth and gaslight every employee at the bank by saying that they just needed more friends - which is hilariously hypocritical coming from a woman whose husband loves her so much he lives in Pittsburgh. Tim Welsh would have been a better CEO and everyone knows it."

The problem with lowering headcount by making everyone miserable is your best people with the most options will be the ones who most easily leave. The people who stay despite things being bad will generally be the ones who have little choice.

I can understand layoffs when necessary, but the way the so-called RTO has been handled has been a case study in self-inflicted mistakes.

We were one of the organizations that pioneered remote work when it made sense in our industry, and it helped us a ton during covid, and yes, some people took advantage of it. But the backlash against the older system that always worked is just foolish. One size never fits all and pretending it does guarantees we won't be in a position to compete going into the future.

I missed it. What did she say that was so terrible? I need to watch a recording.

Are you to much of a coward to share feedback with your name attached to it?

Why do you stay at US Bank if things are so bad? It is nice to finally have a CEO that is willing to say what should have been said by Andy years ago.

TTUS is completely not anonymous....you would have been better off not filling that out....I think by now people know they don't actually implement or listen to any feedback from their employees ....and after that call from Gunjam you should fully be aware

She lives in Pittsburgh too. She is compensated for lodging and travel according to the Exec Compensation published in the annual report. That makes her tone deafness even worse
