Anyone who is a PM in commercial banking... better check how many CB PM roles are being posted in India. It's no longer hidden, they actively are outsourcing your roles right in front of you.

I can almost guarantee Indians will not be lead or senior on the PM side. Maybe completing annual reviews or behind the scenes work. But definitely not on calls with clients.
@aq so, they'll have some random guy in India leading call for a $100m loan or client?
@aj somewhat client facing yes. Primarily relationship managers lead discussions with the client but portfolio managers are a part of those conversations and sometimes lead them too.
Is that not a client facing role?

If PM are 'product managers' then good. I tried getting requirements from these guys only to end up doing their jobs for them while they went to offsides and conferences. Totally worthless in Commercial Bank.
