It is about time for regime change.
18 months and all he does is fire people?
And not one positive thing came out in 18 months that he has been here
preaching positivity.

Nope! Elliott will succeed if given the chance. HO’s anti-wholesale strategy broke Nike and propped up competitors. It was a disaster and will take more time to fix than 18 months. Nike used to be all about competitive response, what the he-l happened?! Stop being weak and get with it!
@a7 It takes 2 years to bring product to market because the “futures” model is WAY outdated and Demand Planning doesn’t forecast and create functional inventory plans like retailers twice Nike’s size.
And who at Nike can say he or she passed the pay counter three times? EH will, and he will be smiling...
You're all wrong. He has the salary of a janitor. And his job is to clean the hallways. And he is doing his job.....
@OP+1kpyexthy He didn't just fire people. He bought coffees and lunch, made everyone his buddy before cruelly shoving them out the door.
Thanks bud.
I would be positive too if I was getting paid what he’s getting paid.
Hahaha yall babies. Nike is too bloated. Over hired in tech over the last 4-5 years when JD took over. EH is simply trimming fat, cleaning up and trying to steal the ship towards a new strategy. And this isn’t some pontoon you can do donuts on the water, it’s a cruise ship that takes time to turn. Just hope it’s a carnival cruise and not the titanic. And don’t tell me all the good people get laid off and bad people stay.
Fu-k Elliott. Fu-k Venky. Fu-k Treasure. Fu-k the board. They're all asleep at the wheel. People trying to take care of their families are the ones who will suffer. Shame on Nike and their leaders.
EH made VA the COO. They both gotta' go and throw out MF too. All three su-k! Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit.
@a4 dawg our intensely corrupt admin is bailing out Intel, the SINGLE American leading edge chip fab, from like 2 decades of mismanagement to create an exit hatch for when China invades Taiwan.
Nike isn't a geopolitical interest to anyone. Our leaders are mo--ns, as evidenced by that 2 year lifecycle, and no one is coming to save Nike.
People say “ It took 2 years to make product” with a str8 face and don’t see the problem in that …. that’s what it took in 1986, it’s 2026. Why does it still take 2 years to make product???
It takes 2 years to create new products, so you can't expect to see the results of his decisions yet. Intel's turnaround took more than 5 years. INTC stock just hit all time high today. In 3 years, I expect Nike to be much stronger than today.
Perhaps he was hired literally for this change. Lots of CEOs are brought in for short term changes and “cleanup”
