Was let go yesterday also.in mfg Wondering how many were affected? Have another job in the works so glad to be gone
Nothing in the UK yet since the SB email, but it typically takes longer here for things to surface due to different employment laws

@bw Are these totals that people are sharing across both historical groups; I know were one company but that culture hasn't set in yet.
I was laid off today! In sales
~30 in IT in US only, seems lower than necessary to meet a 50% headcount reduction. Have heard from other groups but not any totals.

@a2 Correct people are notified within hours of the email if not before (a small few maybe told before if they are close with the manager). But according to process that is suppose to be followed..
The email goes out then the manager is suppose to contact the effected employees. Typically when managers are effected then there manager takes care of the downward staff members or another person was already designated to touch base with those staff members; sometimes HR or previous or new managers. Usually someone whom is local and already knows the employee in some fashion.
@a2 correct. Unless there is alot to get through, then you may be notified later in the day.
If you haven't heard anything yet then your good. Seems like all the Lex guys i know are good.
it's my understanding that on the day's they announce, it's completed with in the first couple hours of the starting shift for that Geography.
