Is there any point going to office after giving 30 day notice resignation? I'm thinking of just working from home for my 30 day notice resignation?

I’d be afraid of the FO phase. Show up and watch YouTube videos unless they give it to you in writing you can stay home.

I’m going into the office during my notice period but I’m not sitting there 8 hours. My manager is vindictive, they will flex on the new notice requirements. Office hour calculation still isn’t an exact science, they are cobbling those numbers together. Be sure to request your community service and personal days and get them approved before you give notice. They might rescind them but once you give notice you lose those hours.

I'd check with policy first. Yes, it could be "what they gonna do, fire me?" But if there are other adverse actions they could take, you might not like it.

Go in. Share your feelings on in-office policies with managers, you can say the things others cannot, leave early, take some office supplies home with you.

Go office only for your farewell party.
