What is the final target LBT has in mind for intel? Definitely 75K is too much if we implement AI throughout.

Oops R2D2 just dropped a sc--w again while fixing the chemical pump. Ai data central spotted this and have no spec clue rundown for it to recover. Humm ! Let send in a H1B DEI green badger in to fix R2 ! Oh boy toolset gonna be down for a shift or two !
how long (years????) it takes you guys to get the yields up
So, you’re saying they can’t get it up. Sounds plausible.
"AI is not going to fix machines in the FAB"
Apparently, humans are not going to fix the machines in the Fab, either, judging by how long (years????) it takes you guys to get the yields up.
Outsourcing to AI-enabled companies like Accenture is more likely than the company building AI platforms for each of the support and engineering functions.
Only chip design and the fabs justify the expense and maintenance required for anything beyond AI as a general tool.
The fabs will get the AI-enabled humanoid robotics in a few years, but by then many data-centric fab roles will be replaced with AI.
A smart person would see the future for what it is and reskill on AI and robotics, because that is where the highest paying jobs and job security will be for decades to come.
finance, HR, engineering, design, R&D, supply chain, logistics, planning, purchasing, IT... which one can use more AI ?
amazon-leader of using cheap abused chinese labor
I don't believe OP is ready to AI.
AI is not going to fix machines in the FAB
can we replace most of the upper management with AI ?
Make me stupid than you
I believe you already have that covered.
I am AI. If you can fu ck me up you don’t lose your jobs. Make me stupid than you
AI is brain rot.
Any company using it to become more competitive has already lost.
You heard it here first.
The ‘target’ asymptotically approaches zero. That’s what AI taking jobs means.
There is no 'final' target. Foundry losses will cause lowered targets for foundry over time, until some external volume happens, or enough excess fab capacity is sold to other foundries to make the remaining fabs at least break even.
If Products sell then that helps slow down the reductions in ProdCo, but like IFS, ProdCo had an IDM1.0 strategy of maintaining excess capacity at all times. LBT is working to eliminate that persistent level of excess, so targets could be lowered even as business picks up.
Ultimately the company may settle out in the 60k area, after some fab and product group sale and the shut down of groups which can not be sold.
