If you can find me someone that has left a townhall in the last 5-6 years saying "that was amazing ... I had no idea we were doing that ... so inspiring ...", I'd love to meet them. Doesn't count if the person is a new hire. It's all new to them so spare me with their excitement.
These things are pointless, yet they keep doing them every quarter acting like it will positively change the org. It's a check the box exercise. And the fake laughter between panels is nauseating and the "only have a few minutes left for questions" is now routine. They always skip the top ranked questions anyway. Why again are they using this ridiculous tool?
Just end it already. Nobody listens or pays attention. We're simply waiting for someone to say the wrong thing and then roast them during our "in-person collaborations with our peers" 8-5, M-F. Joking, of course. We only collaborate on Teams. In the office, 8-5, M-F.

His last conference was an utter disaster. It won’t be rebroadcast- ever. And I dare say that incredibly STUPID HR woman needs to be fired. Why on earth would they waste an hour singing his praises, discussing Yugoslavia, and Applesauce? His incoherent rant about Culture and loyalty was met by her with enthusiastic applause. His explanations about work life balance was equally met by her with applause, even knowing full well they ended Remote Work. He couldn’t explain what ATT is about, only to say we’re like McDonald’s but should be like Target ???
@a4 ending RTO or even reducing the mandatory rules would be admitting he was wrong. His pride, greed and ego is destroying the ATT brand, had its quality network and service for so many years 😟 ATT is not respected anymore by its customers.
It’s so crazy that all it takes to fix things is the end of RTO.
