According to an email sent in December. They were set to talk this month. Did they? Are they still? I don't understand why the complete silence all the time by the company and the union. I can see why they wouldn't give specific details while negotiating but they could at least give us the most general description of the current situation, right?

union and company are discussing the upcoming eisp.
this union is in bed with the Company,we all are going to get sc--wed.this union CWA has been sc--wing their members over for the last 16 years,since 2010.they are really weak.Their MOTTO is "OH let me check,They can do that"all these CWA locals have no ba--s
@OP CWA, sc--wing their members for years. Don’t expect much. Union headcount is dwindling.

No, they started talking again in the beginning of January. According to my union website, they swapped proposals and agreed to talk again in February
