He didn't say anything of substance in the AMA. If they were to occur would they be in IT or other places?

@a3
What was the other time IT was hit other than August?
T-Life is not just an app, it's a lifestyle super-app that consumers can't live without.
This whole group is so overstaffed that it is ki-ling the company. May as well send it all to india now and just let it die.
If given a chance Sailesh will lay off all product managers and keep Kevin Shah and himself. Anyways Sailesh is the only product manager on T-Life, everyone else is just order takers, he has no patience to listen, he thinks he knows all. Believes he understand better copy, design, product requirements, customer pain points and business needs.. He needs to get a life. His boss left, waiting for him to be kicked out.
@ab GDT is hiring. With that job, you will be forced to extend that car’s life another 34 years
Bring back Callie and Marcus to lead Digital!
Jeff should move all of Product and Engineering to our GCCs. Offshoring is the future of IT.
Ask me anything, except about India
@ab nice, how old are you? Curious about how long it took you to accumulate $20M
@a7 oh no!!!! Not religion!!!!
It was nice to see so many on the call recognize what the problem is and say it out loud: In d a
@a9 I'm worth ~$20M thanks to Dave Ramsey. Make fun of him all you want but I am walking amongst you in Frisco with my level 7 job driving my 10 year old car.
AMA was a total joke. Can’t answer a single question about offshoring thousands of jobs. Guess he’s just a corporate shill like the rest of them.
Check out the lawsuits against Ramsey by his own employees
Product got hit hard today. TFB in particular is rumored to have cut up to 40% this week.
@a5 Dave Ramsay fired one of his employees for having a child out of wedlock. He's a religious POS and always has been.
Simon did a great job of saying no lay offs are expected in January but everything changes so don't be surprised by lay offs. He also did a good job of avoiding talking about sending all his jobs to India!
@a4 Dave gives solid financial advice to people that are in tough situations. Nothing wrong with that. Amazing how many people get over their heads.
You had me til Dave Ramsey.
IT was hit twice last year, there is not much more meat on the bone. That being said, anything is possible. Be prepared for it, eventually we are all getting tossed.
Product roles up under Jeff now. They have not been RIFd in recent memory. If I had to guess Product will get hit hard but anything is possible.
Save save save! Consolidate debt, payoff debt, no major purchases houses, cars, etc… do everything you can to downsize your lifestyle and you will weather the worst.
Listen to Dave Ramsey for financial guidance if needed.
