We need legislation that will force companies to pay money into unemployment benefits, equal to their profits if they choose to move the workforce offshore, or replace with AI. Why should 93% of America suffer so the 7% of stockholders can benefit?

@a2 not everyone cares about having as much money as possible, even for retirement. That’s your boomer a-s problem. Save save save slave slave slave then the money you retire you are just as miserable money or not. You end up dying sooner than later because you’re fat and your work took place of any exercise outside fun. That’s a you problem. Money isn’t the only goal in life, it’s to live. All you care about is money and this illusion that you having more money to retire will somehow just change your life. It won’t. But keep being jealous of us mid thirties because you are old fat ugly and your kids hate you deep down.

Like, dawg, I got a family that loves me. A Shih Tzu who needs a lap. I’m not in this to build a dorky a-s LinkedIn profile. I just want to pay for a house and school for my kiddo. Maybe catch a couple of ballgames during the year.

Do you have a 401k? IRA? I hope you understand that a "Career" means you keep reinventing yourself and adding skill sets. Have never wanted to or have needed to get unemployment. Hope that's not your goal.
