Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

Has anyone noticed

The information and accuracy of the posts on this site have really deteriorated. The information on layoffs has been wrong as have most of the other predictions. Did we lose our insiders? Feels like most of the posts are not even employees just people spinning up stories.

Sadly out of a company of 95,000, 150 isn't "big" (.16%). You could argue that ANY layoff number is BIG as they impact individuals. I was just making the point that this site has been really reliable when it has come to "big numbers" impacted. Sorry, I did not mean to offend as getting laid off completely s u c k s for anyone impacted.

@a2 what do you consider a big layoff? Two weeks ago 150+ people were let go because their jobs are going to PR

Might also consider that when people who have historical insight who have left the company get trashed for trying to help they stop posting - they are often still well connected.... we can learn alot by people who put up with this place far longer than most and finally tapped out. Lost opportunity to learn lessons - but that is the way of this company fail to value what people know or who they know

Volume of pageviews is ur best indicator, less views more likely junk will surface, more views junk gets downvoted and good info starts to flow in. On low views, ont bother. If u see volume pick up then something is ip, no matter what the posts say. Insiders will always post just need to be patient

Maybe you haven't noticed but there haven't been big layoffs recently. If you go back a few months ago (and for the last few years) this site has been a very good soruce of information. If (and when) there are more layoffs this site will provide the information we all need.
