There is a major gap between Verizon’s international leadership and its US subscribers... For VZ to survive we should focus on America and completely stop offshoring to Europe and India. This got us nowhere and it's getting worse - we should focus on quality and stop this short term fixes that are causing chaos and rot.

@a7 I strongly agree to call your Senators, and Also write to your Senators & Whitehouse every week !
We need these solutions, so write to them:
1) Global Tax introduced of 15%. This will make effective tax of 21+15 = 36%.
2) If company creates 5000 jobs in U.S, they will get a 5% discount in tax bracket
3) Tax on outsourcing: 25 -> 40%
4) Offshore taxes non-deductible by U.S Companies.
If only 10,000 of the laid off Americans write these suggestions, we may be successful in keeping jobs onshore.
This reddit community is working on prioritizing American Workers, fighting for offshoring and H1B abuse

@a5 yeah, tmo makes less per customer than verizon. bentley makes more per car than toyota. and bentley is a $1B company and toyota is a $100B company.
If we continue like this soon we will not have no customers.
You need to be nuts to get VZ nowadays
maybe upskill?
Sam here with a post it note response - Outsourcing energizes us! We run to a foreign workforce.#outsourcingmatters #lovewhatyououtsource #proudtobeoutsourced
@a7 it will need to be way more than 25 percent for American companies to pay attention. Foreign workers don't need benefits, retirement, perks, and work for a fraction of the pay. It needs to be at least so 200 percent tax to make them take note.
Call your congressmen and senators and make them support the 2025 HIRE Act.
The Halting International Relocation of Employment Act, a bill introduced by Senator Bernie Moreno to discourage U.S. companies from outsourcing jobs by imposing a 25% tax on payments for foreign labor.

@a2 and another reason they make less per customer then Verizon.
tmo cut their customer service outsourcing in half, which immediately made them 50% better than us when it comes to customer service.
infosys took over a large support group and they do not have access to perform any work and now more people are cut to add more infosys support.
