Last year survey comments were shared with team members. Not doing it again.

@a1 heck. I wish I was told I’d get laid off.

@fa confidential. Not anonymous. If they really wanted to know who answered a certain way I’d bet they can get that. There’s a unique id on the survey so they can make sure you don’t take it more than once. There’s probably a cookie on your machine too.

And comments could identify you too. I never comment bc they could probably tell it was me. I actually should bc I don’t really care anymore.

They want to tick the box that they got 100% participation. They won’t do sh-t to address issues except easy stuff. That way they pat themselves in the back for addressing the survey. Meanwhile morale is in the gutter. Pretty much everyone I talk to is uber cynical and low energy.

This layoff board is the best employee survey. At least we can be honest. Guess what people hate - layoffs and RTO. If you have to pay some company thousands of dollars to administer a survey to tell you that then you are part of the problem.

I flat out refuse to do them. Anonymous. Really???? That's BS.

My team spent an entire YEAR talking about our survey results and how to fix lower ratings. Now I make sure I complete it and make my ratings almost perfect. This strategy is by design, I'm sure.

They don’t want the truth, they can’t handle the truth! Was taught if nothing good to say, don’t say anything at all. Haven’t done that in the last 9 years!

It’s a shell game. If a manager has low participation rate they will get canned.

Understand that many senior leaders use participation % as a way to show engagement. They don't care at all about what is said on them, just that they have 99%+ participation. This is why you will definitely be told you have to fill it out.
Been in several of the senior leadership meetings where one leader will call another out for having the lowest response rates doesn't matter if that team had better results.
If you really want to send a message don't fill out the survey. Those of us that have been here long enough know that anything you say, can and will be used against you anyway.

I wouldn't put it past these a--clowns to send an email saying the survey has been placed in Develop You and is mandatory and will be escalated. That's just how fu--ing bad this place is to work.

Take the survey and tell him to take this job and shove it.

That bs "survey" is a f-g waste of time. It's supposed to be voluntary; yet management across all LOBs are pushing their directs to force everyone to complete it.

So, have you shared your feedback?

They will simply change the results to match their desired outcome. These people live in an echo chamber. Nothing will come of this other than more layoffs and sh---y management. Waste of time.

Was informed I would likely be laid off later this year, why TF would I participate in that survey? All my complaining will do is make the coworkers I like suffer more.
