Let’s make ‘the Layoff’ the official channel for communication as the company will no longer afford its people this courtesy and respect. The silence from leadership is deafening.

MB where are you? Crawl out from under your rock and face the people.

More layoffs for Sales are planned in the next few weeks. Sad times.

Any news from Aternity and Israel? It’s terrible. Puts things in perspective doesn’t it.

As far as RVBD, I would expect more and more cuts. Don’t look for answers from ELT. Don’t look for logic or rebuilding . Don’t look for any kind of recovery roadmap other than “cuts to profitability so they can sell this thing and turn a profit.” Don’t look to HR to help you. They are simply the minions of the latest round of demonic overlords.

Nothing is going to save Riverbed. The previous leadership teams couldn't have done more damage to this once great company if they intentionally tried. The only thing you can count on MB and HR for is to process the multiple waves of layoffs that have already started. The current equity owner and leadership team are only here to manage the split up and sale of assets and technologies after their futile efforts to turn things around fail and the inevitable occurs.

That most recent post (small d—k energy) sure hit home. (BTW “small d—k energy applies to both s-xes). Seems to be a lot of that going on in the last days at RVBD. Lots of micro aggressions, micromanagement, passive aggressive b-lls—t. Did RT publish a playbook for his toadies?

Does your manager suffer from small d1-k energy? Paper-tiger syndrome? Napoleon complex?

Symptoms may include, subtle “just curious” interest of your meetings/work, micro aggressions towards your ability to execute, little white lies about your career growth, and passive aggressiveness in front of others.

If this sounds familiar, do yourself a favor and start looking.

"They [HR] do what management tells them". That's the case everywhere. I have never seen any HR organization, when given the choice between siding with an employee and siding with management, where they pick management. I'm sure there are rare cases where the behavior of management is so egregious it can't be ignored, but still they'll do what they can to minimize damage.

As far as "Why is the “new management” not seeing through the bullsh$t of RT?" -- that's going to be the real sign of how DD judges character. Hopefully DD is becoming aware that RT is just a bag of hot air with no substance and will drop the axe soon on both RT and his ugly baby IQ
