Was the account lockout a leading indicator?

Both sides argued vehemently that the accidental lockout was (or was not) a coincidence with the surplus list from last week.

Now that the surplus has happened, we should know. Was anyone here who WAS locked out NOT surplused?

It may be coincidental but I and several of my peers were locked out and our center was one of the ones surplussed last week.

No, team members who were locked out were not surplussed. One had nothing to do with the other.

No, the people who got locked out had no direct correlation to the people who were notified last week.

Yes, the lockout added to the overall employee angst and that has to be considered a good thing for our leadership. Probably an unintended benefit but maybe not unintended.
