Anyone else notice the new pay bands are lower than the old target ranges? Wild that this got sold as “better for employees.” Everyone getting promoted (lol) is starting lower than the old structure would have put them, and new folks won’t know the difference.

What did they do? Take them down now?
@vk that’s weird. I could see it yesterday
@tz does not exist
@rg they’re on pathfinder now-click on your pay and then compensation at the bottom left
@m8 More like… Pays No Cash
Where are you all finding the new TSRs? I know they were taken off of pathfinder towards the beginning of this year. I haven’t been able to find the new ones.
Never forget PNC = Probably Not a Concern
@jb They should never lower your salary. Instead the band moved back so that you're now in the range, at least in my case. I received the email that my pay was increasing so I'm waiting for them to say that even though my pay remains the same, I really got a $4k bump due to the new range.
As for raises, who knows. They said they have 2 years to bring to the TSR minimum, but that range went away, and I can't find the TSR thing in writing. I'm really hoping i just missed it, but I'm very skeptical at this point.
I guess we will see.
If you are above the range would they lower your salary to get within it, or no raises going forward?
@aq They're just replacing them with all the offshore employees. They can hire 2 or 3 of them to one of us. They have been training them and letting go their own employees. They also don't want team leads or senior reps anymore
This is all true.
For myself, all they did was adjust the range down so that I now fit the range while not even coming close to actual market value, much like another person who commented.
The TSR range high value dropped by $21k in my case.
I know they promised to get us to this minimum TSR range but I'm having serious doubts about that now.
I'm a manager and I'll have subordinates coming in making more than me, in one case at least $15k more.
At this point, I should have known this would be the outcome. With all of the attrition in my area, I'm not sure how we will attract talent; and once we do have the talent, how long before the incumbents fund out?
The "broader range" is an excuse to hide the real reason: lower minimum salaries. The only way to get an actual raise was to have your manager fight for you to get a title change and then HR would bump you to the minimum salary for your new role after 2 years. Now they've eliminated that expensive "problem". Performance doesn't matter - work your a-s off for an "exceeds expectations" (that only one member of your team can get per year btw, take turns trying?) and you'll be rewarded with nothing. The minimum for my role is now 12K lower - and it was already low for the market.
First thing I thought of when I saw mine this morning. The last TSR update showed me under the minimum and they said if we were under then they’d increase us over the next 2 years (lmao, sure) but the new BSR has me riiiiight at the new minimum with a basically nonexistent increase and is still 5k less than the old TSR
@OP if this is indeed true it’s outrageous! How do they expect to replace all of the good talent that’s leaving? At this point I’m really starting to get concerned about the stability of our company.
