Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Oh this is going to be very bad for the Fidelity brand.

Nothing and I mean nothing scares ppl investing with any bank more than turmoil and unrest.
They are really pushing for massive layoffs done by silent workers being threatened long insane hours and excessive workloads.
They WANT this to happen. Jump ship get the he-l out let them sink like State Street did.
They deserve their misery gaslighting employees. Reneging on five years of hybrid.
Abby is cooked she’s lost her way they’re going for the big sell out why taking about 25% in the wake.
She wants insane type A hyped up employees or the massively linear Indian and African workers willing to do this workload for Pennie’s on the dollar to escape genocide or sepsis in the streets.
This is tectonic.

You do know that Fidelity is not a bank right? Also, customers only care about returns. Doesn’t matter to them if 3 or 5 humans are doing the work, a dozen chimps, or 1 robot. The empathy you seek from customers doesn’t exist.

@e4 yea u don’t have a milli in your ret based on how triggered you are in your response. and i doubt you are even employed at the firm anymore.

because if you did you wouldn’t be on a layoff site talking about moving your money. Fidelity employees cant move their accounts out, infact they are required to roll over any previous employers accounts before joining the firm.

Manage your own money if you aren’t happy with your advisor team. If not, it stays professionally managed for life if you don’t move it once you do leave.

Take one look at the trading and PM floor (that you dont have badge access to) none of the DEIdoom you speak of exist on that floor. Toy

@OP HR here. leave Africans and Indians alone. It’s in your head they are paid less. They are paid way more than yous. Leave your 60s mentality in your family bin

Nothing will change. How much did the facebook 10% layoff change anyone's behavior? or amazon treating warehouse workers like a disposable resource to abuse and discard? people dont give a sshhhh until it happens to them directly

@a1 I would same here and I’m going to tell family. This is a bad scene they’re got going on new unskilled workers taking over seasoned professionals. Sometimes saving a buck costs millions.
