This company isn't it. Gave up on a turnaround long ago. Layoffs are the main event here. I do my job, nothing more. Dedicated exactly to my pay grade. Effort won't be rewarded. Focus instead on your well-being and job hunting. Works wonders against the stress.

@OP I do the exact same thing. However, based on experience, you are still targeted for layoff. If you are employed by OT, you are a target for layoff. That is why morale is at an all-time low. I mean it’s been low for many years, but this is the lowest it’s ever been. It’s actually very sad to come into the office every day at this place.
At every job you should either learn or earn.
Either is fine.
Both is best.
But if it's neither, quit.
