Anybody notice an increase in compliance related terminations. I have seen both announcements on bulletin boards about disciplinary action. The company is taken against people for various things recently as well as hearing about individuals who have been terminated. Do we think this is an increase?

There have been execs fired for cause but it is the exception, they usually just get coaching for a while when caught in violation.
These aren’t missed courses in workday. If anything that would be a conversation in your PMP, not a termination. Terminations for compliance are like proven misconduct - s-xual harassment, conflict of interest (like fraud or abuse of authority/approval levels), intentional negligence…those type of behaviors aren’t being “coached” or moved to other jobs anymore. They’re holding people accountable instead of moving problems around. I would rather see people fired for cause than another round of layoffs that impact people who are doing their jobs.
These ethics alerts have existed for the duration of my time at the company which is extensive.
The difference is we didn’t have the propaganda screens in the hallways until recently. Used to be you had to search for them or click the links buried in HR emails.
Skip a Workpace break = Terminated
@OP compliance terminations?
Are these things like drig testing? Missed courses in workday? Can you expand on your comments?
