With all this good news being said about Lumen, why are raises for non-union employees not being given?

Because Chirs has to buy new parts for his racecar.
They needed to buy a new company so we can put the company into a bad situation a few years from now. All the junk they bought over the years and now the second they have dollar they race to throw at a new shinny thing. Instead of maintenance of the org. This company has always had a bad history of pay and COLA.
You don’t deserve just a raise
They don’t believe in it.
@122 We're waiting
@120 That's what you call irony, right there, "120."
@OP People are getting raises. If you didn't get a raise, maybe it's because you su-k hind t-t.
@n2 get a raise and give it back to a union that got us where we are. Paying them to ki-l jobs for a couple decades now
@ec I’m not sure you may have to enquire, CWAs last contract has neutrality language. Meaning Lumen non represented field techs can now request representation without retribution. Feel free to contact CWA district 7 for more information.
Non union. Don’t have to give you a raise.
AI will take your job soon, don't worry.
@es
Valid point. But by the time the contract expires there won’t be any techs left at lumen.
Once the contract expires so will raises.The only reason we got what we got was they needed the AT&T sale to go thru with no snags or delays.
@aj is this on an individual basis or does it need to be the whole crew?
Non union Lumen techs can now join CWA without any fear of retribution. Contact your local and start the process.
Don't you love how you're more likely to get laid off than get a raise at this horrible company?
None union techs were never treated with respect. It never will. Don't expect any changes!
That tends to cut into executive compensation packages and we simply cannot have that, can we?
