I'll start. Mine took credit for a project I led, got a bonus for it, and then blamed me when something went wrong six months later. I hate that man.

My manager is a grade-A credit thief. The team does the work, he takes the bow. But when things go south? Suddenly it's on everybody else. The actual workhorses get zero recognition while his inner circle gets treated like rockstars.
Anyone who just wants to do their job and stay in their lane gets singled out and thrown under the bus. Everything runs on his personal agenda — some days it's political, other days it's straight-up my-way-or-nothing. He never lets you forget who's calling the shots.
Growth opportunities are reserved for his favorites. The genuinely skilled folks stay buried in BAU with no way out. He talks a big tech game, but it's all smoke and mirrors.
Bottom line — he's built a clique-driven, toxic environment where the wrong people get rewarded and the right ones get written off. It's exhausting.
@OP 12 down votes because I’ve always had good managers. You guys need help.
We had a Development manager get hired at a higher position. Hired all his buddies into development and put them into higher positions. Didn't even try to get to know the current resources. Just like any place they all play favoritism.
@OP I’ve always had good bosses.
It can’t be good for mental health and your general mood to keep thinking up negative topics like this just to generate more negativity with no reason other than to all have a moan.
Picked his nose and ate a booger.
I had a boss who was not only s-xist, but used the India caste system. The boss thought they were the smartest person in the room. The person would dismiss your ideas, but would take credit for the idea when presented to management.
I watched this person treat India born team members differently because they believed staff was a lower caste than them.
This person was riffed this year, it should have been done along time ago.
A good boss learn and listens to their staff.
Have been lucky to have some great bosses, and some not so great. Had a boss that did not like me and did not hide it. He would complain when asked for help. was dragged into a conference room and informed that too many questions were being asked. The work was complex, worthy of questions to assure accuracy. Without those questions, the results would have been affected. His goal was to be completely unbothered. Naturally, there was proximity in work locations as a bonus. His face would turn beet red during any minor conflict. He was earlier in his career, so no confidence, just irritation and a very red face. Some can sense when you are not afraid of them.
