From that perspective, the decision is less strategic and more philosophical, even if the execution feels abrupt.

Still, the uncertainty is what’s getting to people. No one likes feeling like they’re waiting for a decision that’s already been made behind closed doors. It creates this strange mix of anticipation and resignation, where people are preparing for change without really knowing how it will land.

For now, all eyes are on that survey closing date. Whether it ends up being symbolic or significant, it feels like a marker. After that, whatever comes next won’t just be speculation anymore—it’ll be policy, and everyone will have to decide how they’re going to respond.
