You can get unemployment if you take a vrif as long as it’s a larger reduction in work force which it is

Can anybody share details of this new action? I'm no longer at Xerox, but have an interest in what's going on because of my concern for all my old coworkers.

OP is talking about the VRIF that was just offered, not an IRIF.

@OP that’s not true. An IRIF is still a layoff. You can get unemployment. I know this because I did an IRIF and I got unemployment after my severance package was done.
