I hope all the talent leaves them. I hope all these large companies lose their customer base. I hope employee-led start ups or smaller private companies take over where shareholders and the stock market are not the only things that matter.

@OP USB is awful, probably the weakest culture in the industry with terrible leadership in the C-suite, but also middle managers who are all yes people looking out for themselves rather than leading… everyone should be looking for a new company….
Unfortunately, there are a lot of very talented people who have lost their jobs looking for work. Anyone who leaves can be replaced quickly or the job moved offshore
Workers of the world, unite! Union or employee co-op/ownership is the only way to break the chains. Over in Europe thanks to unions they get 8 weeks paid vacation, 6-12 months parental leave, real pensions, and protection from layoffs with full pay.
Strangely enough getting the talent to leave is the objective of these mandates. You would think a company would care about high performers. Here, since they consider us no more intelligent than toddlers it's no surprise they want to only hire cheap foreign contractors, because why bother with us employees at us bank? If there is a mass resignation, they will fill the offshore facilities with more cognizant and TCS employees. I've already seen talent leaving over the last year, so it's not a question of if talent will leave, it's how many will leave and how soon. Sure everything will become a bureaucratic quagmire here and productivity will slow to a crawl, but employee salary expenses will be down.
