Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Promoting open roles on LI is foul

Seeing Nike employees parading open roles on LinkedIn is disgusting. You continue to layoff really qualified hard workers after you’ve su-ked the soul out of them. Those roles could have been offered to those people first. I’m ashamed to even admit I’m a part of this anymore. Shame on Nike.

@cy our leaders play fair right? I mean they follow the “play fair” NOT!! The rules don’t apply to them.

@OP this is the common way Indians in a hiring position make it look like they are openly hiring. Pay attention to the H1B coming in, every Indian leader does this in every company. Been like this for years but they used to list on Craigslist or newspapers or whatever.

And yet they ask us to complete the fairplay training every year.

Nike proves itself to be one of the most unethical orgs over and over. It’s something you only learn from the inside. Look at all the posts on that platform defending Nike, but none of them have inside experience. It’s a sinking ship.

Nike does not care about you. It’s not your family. To them we are just all ETW. Think about that before you work extra hours at night or during the weekend.

@OP Nike has become an embarrassment and the leaders that are doing that are the same b**tlickers that are getting away with unethical behavior that spans outside of the berm. Being an employee is an embarrassment and not something to be proud of anymore. I can’t imagine that anyone working there with half a brain cell isn’t looking for a new job! To its core, the company stands for nothing. Employees don’t matter and I would never recommend employment with Nike. Get out if you can!
