Anyone have insight on home and community prior auth reviewers? Not enough work for everyone right now and am wondering if layoffs are imminent. Any insight is much appreciated!

It all takes time but foundation is being set for more savings. If they can do with a small part of the business and save the cash then they will eventually pull more work overseas....which is a disgrace.
@OP H&C- Home and Community was part of the pre-head’s up 3/19 RIF warnings. There was a mandatory meeting on 3/19. CACs were laid off or transferred to other departments. There was a meeting some months prior. It was announced that Optum Global Solutions (OGS) Philippines would be taking over a portion of the work. It was emphasized repeatedly that nobody would be losing their jobs because of OGS. Of course, that was not true.
I'm not sure about prior auth reviewers but a bunch of CACs were laid off a few weeks ago
