If you are offered a severance take the money and run!!! The RTM position you will get a 5% pay increase but NO overtime and trust me you will work the overtime. If someone is out its up to you to cover for them-if 2 people are out you can figure that out also. So you will be throwing orders A LOT and you are also expected to get your job done also. When your KPI's start falling- and they will- get ready for a bad review and a write up and also no raise. Thank the Lord I retired after 35 years because of all the bullsh*t. They are going to HAVE to go warehouse because no one can do what they are asking. DM's and RMS's do nothing but the sad thing is the RDR"s know this and do nothing about it. Once was a job to be proud of now its a job to be ashamed of.

If you like the RTM role just wait for vacations to roll around, someone to quit, multiple people to quit, call offs. Then tell us you still like it?

I'm liking the RTM role so far.
Hit stores with pitcher sell displays help build them help your team with heavy days kind of make your own schedule leave home by 9:00 back home by 2:00-3. Finish day on email

@nk “At will” doesn’t mean they can discriminate! That’s where most of their issues lie. Way easier to prove that you can ever imagine with the id--t managers that they have!

I live in an at will state I won't be able to do anything

Be very careful signing anything, you sign away a lot of rights! I went after them during one of these “reorganizations” and got a real nice settlement. Two others would have been able to go with me, I did all the leg work and covered attorney fees, and they would have gotten 6 figure settlements, tax free, with less than a year of employment. They took the dang severance. Got barely a thing instead.
Getting out, on my terms, was the absolute best thing I ever did! Management is like a bunch of children trying to run a team, it’s a joke!
If you stay, have fun! 🤪

@mg So that would mean the routes are going to get bigger? This is never gonna work on the majority of routes.

@OP how many reps did they want to get down to I know Northeast had about 170 on call and told us only 120 territories were going to be open to apply

@g1 I agree. I need to get out. It's bad and continues to get worse.

It depends what your date on your severance letter -in North East we were told in January and our termination date was Feb27th

As a past rep with almost 15 years experience all I can say is leave or take the severance. I got out about 2 1/2 years ago by choice. Was hoping to be one of the few that got offered the severance when mission 1 started but that didn’t happen. The pay was trash, the incentives were getting smaller less obtainable. And now look where it’s gotten to. GTFO now. Thank me later

If you take the severance, how long do you have to stay on? Til the end of quarter 2?..

Just some friendly advice from someone already through this, only apply for the territories you actually would want to work on. I had managers telling us to apply for anything and everything. I only applied for the two near me I wanted to be on, if I didn’t get one I was prepared to take the severance. Would rather have taken the severance than be miserable somewhere I don’t want to be.

If you Dm tells you to apply for as many territories be careful you may not really get what you want read severance papers carefully when you get them

Yes you get severance. If you reapply and get hired you won't get a severance.

@OP They offered you severance in lieu of reapplying if you want to leave?
