Corporate Risk Risk Layoffs

Does anyone know when they plan to finish moving corporate risk into hubs? They mentioned most of it was already in hubs during the December townhall — what’s the status of the rest?

location strategy overall has shifted. too expensive as it was running, which was offering relo or paying severance if someone doesn't want to relocate. that has stopped.

Instead:

  • if someone in a non-hub location hand-raises and asks for relo, the LOB can fund it.
  • location is now a selection criteria for efficiency displacements

people keep saying corporate risk will be decimated but it's as bloated as ever.

Great, now people in "hub" markets will get cut next. A majority of layoffs across the entire enterprise are people in hubs and in compliance. For the time being, location strategy is largely a thing of the past. At least until they start closing the big hubs. There's some small numbers impacted here and there, but it's not the majority like it used to be.
