I was hired last September straight of undergrad and was pretty happy. But oh boy this wasn't how I wanted my adult life to start but here I am worried on a Saturday morning. FML seriously. I feel like an id--t for saying yes. Everyone in my team is just so stressed.

OP, possibly but not likely. You are young and cheap. Although, if you didn't look like you were going to cut it then your boss may use the opportunity to get rid of you to save someone else.
@ak big talk. I would bet that less than a hand full of people file any kind of a grievance or law suit. It is expensive and you need to have proof that you were illegally fired. Good luck. How many people successfully sued after last years layoffs? It is the same conditions now.
All experienced ICs will be replaced by college grads since you now have AI tool. So don't worry.

yes - we had someone join us as an IC1 (new grad) and she was let go to save another tenured person in Sep 2025 (she was philippines). this was in the NetSuite GBU...
