@j6 Under the BNY Corporate Governance Guidelines and NYSE rules, the Human Resources and Compensation Committee (which decides his pay) must be composed entirely of these independent directors. Even when the full Board meets to finalize the committee's recommendations, standard corporate law and BNY’s own bylaws dictate that a director must recuse themselves from voting on matters where they have a personal financial interest.
Not only that, but the shareholders must vote to approve the executive compensation plan.

Robin may know BNY, but he hardly knows the business. He's an embarrassment whenever on CNBC. Moreover, he has a very easy job to cut expenses of an objectively bloated company

It’s a shame the economy is in the situation it is because if it were easier to get another job I’m sure there’d be more people publicly speaking out about Robin and his antics. I also wish he’d walk into the wrong building on the wrong day, and run into a person with nothing to lose.

@OP based on that number (which is accurate) Robin’s 2025 comp is almost DOUBLE Jamie Dimon’s. To paraphrase something a VP candidate said many years ago “you Mr. Vince are no Jamie Dimon”.

50 million should go to the shareholders not Robin's pockets. He isn't curing cancer, no ceo is worth that much in a bonus.

And I should point out that I disagree with offshoring all of our employees and the lies about how great BK culture is, but Robin certainly knows the business.

@by, I guarantee neither you NOR @OP could answer ONE single question on our earnings call. Heck, I bet you can't even tell us how many business units BK has, much less name them...
