Senior management will remain untouched, as usual. For every executive who keeps their job, dozens of us will have to go. They'll go by the numbers to make their selections, which means the better you are, and therefore the more you're paid, the higher your chances of being cut. This company is slowly cannibalizing itself to pay for grandiose decisions that never made business sense.

Also the decision was made high up the ranks and even directors/senior directors didnt know who was going or what the algoritm was...
Not necessarily. A lot of vp, senior directors, directors and managers were let go last august in idc/us and in europe the months after.
(I know i was one of those let go)
@OP I hope I go. Can’t afford to walk off so just doing minimal work until the ball drops. Stress leave is also an option. It doesn’t take much; just a note from your shrink and you can be gone for months while all this settles out.
