Well is it time for the Layoff round 3 to happen?

They plan on getting rid of all technial staff next since they hired the contractor to do it. They are following the chevron model. Round 3 will happen in 3rd qtr and then another round in the 4th qtr.
They have India to start up those plants. They are going to give them access so they can do it remotely. I heard they are looking to replace board opertors. Not needed when being outsourced.
Glad they monitor this page. I hope the upper management gets angry everytime the truth is brought up. When your leaders are alumni from the proud fighting university of phoenix it’s all that can be expected.
Tell me you got a job based off what you were willing to do instead of education without telling me.

I am seeing a lot of people leave after the bonus announcement, my guess is a lot of the top talent is talking about new roles/company. I wonder if they are pushing harder for lagging’s during this review cycle
@OP the TSC met this past week, Talent Steering Committee is the correct term, maybe not. I was told that from that they are targeting project people 87 grade and above for furlough. Also heard Chevron stepped in to take some of them for their projects. RLPP II is a go but the Quatar side want nothing to do with CPChem, we cost to much. There will be project people who are 85 to 86 or 87 eating crow and taking jobs below what they currently are just to have a job. Just an update from someone who is about to be furlouged and no Chevron savior offer. I know for a fact that CPCHEM monitors this page, I was personally told that. So thanks for letting us help design and build you a money maker plant and then furlough us, good business deal there.
Yeah right… CPChem is going to need every bit of talent they have to start up these mega projects we have coming online
