My hope is they do clear out several levels of management. They are not needed and they have way too much free time and have the nerve to project their free time having on to teammates actually doing the work.

@OP There's nothing to replace. Middle mgmt literally does nothing all day. Skip levels 2,3,4,5,6 need to go. Imagine the budget that's saved getting rid of them.
