Reorgs are comical

Does it seem like many of the recent Manager & Lead promotions went to people that have no clue what they are doing?!? People are getting “promoted”- more like PLACED- to positions they should not be in. Some of these same people could barely do their job prior or have no clue about the job of those now reporting to them. Yet on the flip side, qualified people aren’t even looked at or cannot even make it half way through any interview process because most of HR is a sh-t show. Guess that’s always been the #nikeway. Be in the nepotism club or get left behind.

Indians hardly have any skills, and rarely have enough english skills to even work with american managers. paper smart, reality inexperianced, and probably lied on their resume to get hired. Or whatever H1b company brought them in with the skill mills

@bn that's funny though. Indians aren't considered a diversity hire, but there is a huge group in gt. They're not that great at tech either or not moreso than anyone else. It's almost like there was another criteria for hiring.

Look around you. 95% of the layoffs yesterday were white employees laid off by a person of color that’s been destroying the org for years and covering up seriously sketchy actions. Why not double down and earn that EEOC no-no badge?!

HR is a joke when it comes to screening the first round. Lots of potential candidates didn’t even make it through except people of certain ethnicity. At least don’t make it so obvious

@bq to say they are leading teams would mean they are leaders. They don’t deserve the title. They su-ked up and got jobs and promotions that they didn’t deserve. To preserve their unwarranted promotion they continue to act unethical and will do anything to self promote. This is what we call nepotism. When the HRBP, CSO and SBS are lock step the entire Org will suffer. We all know
who is really in charge. Someone speak up and expose it already. Someone from the past or the present. How many more “offsites” and QBRs do we need to sit through before we “do the right thing” given that our entire existence stands on integrity. #resilience

no promotions, no investment in phk, not sure why they built all those new buildings only to have them sit half empty, makes no sense, what changed?

if they staffed 1 GT worker for 10 ITC workers, it would be a huge net positive, justifying the maintenance costs of those buildings, as well as a jump in productivity and an overall cost savings

Apparently everyone knows the real truth of what’s going on behind the scenes at Nike - the level of nepotism and injustice and yet no one is doing a da.mn thing to correct it. What su.cks the most is that there are people with double or triple their workload who never have a chance of getting promoted. And the sad part is that I don’t think Nike will ever do right by those people.

A lot of folks got slotted into roles they’re not suited for, adding net negative value, just to look “equitable” on the surface. The reorgs were especially guilty of this. Honestly a disgrace.

It’s rampant. People in roles with absolutely no experience applicable to the function. leading teams and revenue down the drain. Don’t bother speaking up it just puts a target on your back.
