@OP that Dave Ward is the worst of the worst. to think that Salesforce hired him is astounding. he is bad at his job and the whole not wearing shoes thing is just gross. like dave.

Your answer lies in the riddle itself, how well did PacketFabric grow from his tenure. Look at the speech he made when he joined them, very similar to what was said to Katie Cucaracha. The guy dances from place to place, so he's not to blame for companies that
buy the yarn he's spinning. The boy makes his living spinning and grinning.
Ward was spoon feeding them the same nonsense he spouted at PacketFabric, it was illusory then and yet to be proven, now. Lumen was gullible enough to go all in because
they had nothing else. the only hope is to get the debt below double digits and hope like heck something turns up before all the revenue streams dry up.
