Assuming the rumors are true. It’s exhausting being kept in the dark like this. Our livelihoods are at stake.

@d7 I don’t think so. Then there would be no incentive for people to take the VRP.
@br that is just a software update notice to reboot your computer. I got one too and I'm on the VRP list. Nothing to worry about with that particular notice.
@b5 Love it.
@br I received a computer update too. Not sure if it means anything but at this point everything is making me second guess.
@br on god twin
Kari’s email says that everyone impacted will get severance and benefits. Does anyone know if this round of layoffs offers a better severance than the VRP?
The email from Kari Stevens says 3% reduction by the end of Feb, beginning today. That's 3 non-pay Thursdays, including today. They probably broke it, so about 1/3 are getting each Thursday.
@d0 Correct. That perk ended 12/31/2025.
@d0 depends on the state. Some states require they pay out PTO
@d0 because if you are JE and have pto in during the month you’re considered an employee still but you’re aren’t actually working, they will use your pto.
When I was JE they still paid out pto, guess I should not be surprised they removed that.
@cy “ If you do get JE and you have any future pto dates put in, make sure you go in and cancel/remove them.”
Why does this matter? They’re not paying off unused PTO
@cd it may depend on your role. I had access for the day I was notified of JE on a Thursday and had access up till end of day Friday. You will be told on the call when your access will be removed. If you do get JE and you have any future pto dates put in, make sure you go in and cancel/remove them.
@br they usually cut your access at the end of the day you get JEd
I received a update for my computer about 2hrs ago saying the deadline for the update is 11:45am 😳😳😳. That mean anything?
@bd im pretty sure the number you heard is just overall. There were layoffs end of december, and I already heard of march/april so sounds about right if its 6% this time
@ak 6% sounds conservative based on other numbers I have heard
@b8 I think it’s 2 weeks per year of service.
The math on 3 weeks doesn’t work based on the severance packages I’ve heard from colleagues
@ag we get 3 weeks for every year of service and subsidized cobra during that time.
@OP I am licking my chops to be a whistle blower!!! Oh baby do I have dirt!!! Bring it!
Tomorrow will be big enough old DC will be running around with a woody all day
Can confirm tomorrow many people will be let go. First hand knowledge from a managing director who said in the thousands. Worst they’ve seen in almost 20 years.
What does “JE” mean? Job / position elimination? Thank you.
@ak thatll be roughly 4k people probably then, the upper folks told me q1 is going to be rough, basically all but confirmed at least a round in march/april. wasnt clear if it was both or just within that time frame.
I was told 6% of entire workforce tomorrow. This doesn’t include retirement packages. More next month and depending on…who knows what…more in March.
This is direct from Managing Director level leadership.
Anyone know what Cigna’s severance is?
Rumors are true, tomorrow is layoff day.
@a5 Wonder if that means Band 5 and Band 4 eliminations will now trickle in tomorrow.
It looks like at least some band 6 are being informed today. Our managing director just told us she was JE’d.
Very bad. In the 10-15% range. Some teams less, some more.
There are too many post about 1/29, so I suspect it is going to happen. But who really has the official decisions on layoffs? Band 5?
