I’ve worked at MHS - Indiana for many years. Please don’t let this site keep you from pursuing an opportunity.
The people and culture are great!

@OP Just remember, people are more likely to post when they’ve had a negative experience than when they’ve had a positive one. Be it restaurants or workplaces. Centene is fine. It really does largely depend on who you end up with as your “leader”. But that’s everywhere. Pay is mid. Benefits are mid. 401k is average contributions and poor vesting schedule. If you need health insurance though, I’d be leery about Indiana. They are the canary in the coal mine for that new Ichara thing.

They lay off less here than a few other places I been at (if that’s what you are worried about). I would be more worried about being stretched too thin/overworked or not being paid as much as some other places. But that is group dependent.

@OP If you need the job, take the job. I wouldn’t necessarily leave a job to come to Centene. But as far as layoffs go, no one knows what the future holds.

Depends what the opportunity is - post the title and pay?

Often times it comes down to compensation, work flexibility and your manager style of management.
