@14x - re: "nothing has changed" but who pays you. In legal parlance, this can be labeled as a "phantom transfer", which is why on other GWT threads there is chatter about the legality of the re-badging going on. Sources I have contacted say at some point GWT put "nothing has changed" in writing (vs. just verbal).
@17f The answer is no. Companies do not pay in to Social Security for offshored employees. They may pay into the host country equivalent, if there is one and they don't find a way to evade the tax.

I don't get my paycheck from Gainwell either as I'm rebadged. But I might as well still be getting my paycheck from them.
Aside from the paycheck nothing has changed. Actually it's became worse. Now you under constant scrunity and Gainwell employees, particulary manages are frothing at the mouth to catch you in a mistake. In attempt to recoup some monies in SLA penalties.

Let us look at it another way. If GW farms out jobs overseas for 500 employees making 100 thousand dollars that is $15,000,000 lost federal tax revenue a year, not counting lost state revenue. Over ten years that’s a federal tax loss of $150 million. We cannot continue to enrich other countries at the tax payers expense. PERIOD. Not racist, just math and this is a low estimate.

@OP, when trolls are in full tilt, it usually means they’re trying to divert attention from the real issues, and responding only encourages them. Ignoring them usually works, at least until the mods eventually nuke it.

People are frustrated.
We have a company that processes benefits for U.S. citizens, who are literally sending jobs and information over to a country on the other side of the world. In a sense, it's the 'enemy within'
Next, Gainwell doesn't hire the cream of the crop. It's more like the store brand. Managers included. You're expecting a top quality product but end up getting something that is 99% water thats been sitting on the back shelf for no one knows how long.
