No, they can't. The silicon mines in Africa are closing and China run out of silicon.
California recently passed a law that silicon is harming the environment. Need to shift to AI because is more sustainable.

AI is not hype. Maybe there is a bubble and we will have a crash but AI is real and not a scam.
Cisco silicone is superior. I used it around my tub and have no leaks at all.
Many won't even look at you nevermind hire you if you have Cisco on your resume. That's a hint.

Irrelevant question. They don't need to beat anybody. Cisco is a 390B company with a highly successful silicon operation. They aren't going anywhere.
@a3 TThe functionality isn’t hype. Tools like ChatGPT already outperform the computer on Star Trek in many practical ways. It’s like having an assistant that’s close to a genius and never gets tired of helping.
What exactly is the fraud? I’m still amazed that this breakthrough happened in my lifetime. I remember the AI winter of the 1990s and honestly thought it would take another 100 years before we had anything like this. Personally, I don’t care whether it is truly intelligent or has any metaphysical qualities. What matters is that it works.

Have you looked around at Cisco? The average IQ is a two digit number. Best they can do is aquire and copy ideas to slow the bleeding and buy time.
How much revenue has AI brought in? Not much talk about it other than the hype and money invested.
I think the real question is will Ford or Sony lead the world in organic fish farming.
@OP Absolutely no way Cisco beats Nvidia. Spectrum-X is a beast and Cisco is waaaaaaay behind.
Nvidia is going to explode in spectacular fashion. The promises of AI continue to fall flat and costs are far outpacing revenue for companies drinking the AI koolaid. Once they stop paying for AI, Nvidia will be forced to lower prices and their massive expenditures will come back to bite them.
AI is the biggest tech con game I've ever seen.
